Atletico Madrid are second in La Liga, nine points behind Barcelona and four points ahead of Real Madrid. Atleti have lost two of their last four games but those two losses are their only La Liga losses since the start of 2018. On Thursday, Atletico hosted Sporting in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinal. Diego Simeone will have to make changes to his defense, as four players could miss Sunday’s game with injuries. Offensively, Antoine Griezmann has been Atleti’s best player, scoring 17 goals and adding eight assists.
