With the 2018 NFL Draft only two weeks away, we take a look at what the first round might look like in our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.

The 2018 NFL Draft will kick off on April 26, with the Cleveland Browns holding the first overall pick. Thanks to the trade they made with the Houston Texans during the 2017 NFL Draft, they also hold the No. 4 pick, so their camp must be plenty busy right about now.

Looking at this draft class, the one thing that stands out is how many good quarterbacks are available. The NFL has a shortage of talent at this most important position, so teams may want to move up in the first round to get their franchise guy.

The New York Jets have already moved up from No. 6 to 3, and they may not be the only  team who trades away assets to select an arm. With only two weeks left until the big day, here is a look at our latest first-round mock draft for the 2018 NFL Draft.

USC. Sam Darnold. 1. player. 53. . Quarterback

For the second year in a row,  the Cleveland Browns will select first overall in the NFL Draft. While the team decided to go defense with the first pick last year, there is no doubt they will spend the first pick on the offense in 2018. That pick should be a quarterback, and that quarterback should be Sam Darnold from USC.

Darnold is the best quarterback in this draft class, and he put an exclamation point on that during his Pro Day. It would be hard to imagine the Browns passing on him at No. 1, but this organization has produced some head-scratchers before. Look for Darnold to be the first name read by commissioner Roger Goodell, and if he does not go No. 1, the New York Giants will be waiting with open arms.
