The Dancing with the Stars: Athletes premiere is Monday. Here’s how to watch Dancing with the Stars season 26, episode 1 live, on TV and online.

Dancing with the Stars returns to ABC on Monday, so we’re telling you how to watch Dancing with the Stars online and watch Dancing with the Stars live in order not to miss the season premiere.

This time, there’s a twist. For the first time ever, ABC is fielding an all-athlete edition of its hit reality show, instead of having a former athlete or two in the cast. So Dancing with the Stars season 26 is officially called Dancing with the Stars: Athletes. From current superstars like figure skater Adam Rippon to those long retired but with names you still know (hi, Tonya Harding!), everyone comes to the show from some kind of sport.

Will that be good or bad for competition? Well, watch and find out, especially as the show will announce live results at the end of each week — since the season is only four weeks long!

"Sports fans rejoice as one of the most competitive seasons of “Dancing with the Stars” ever fires up the scoreboard and welcomes 10 determined athletes who will take to the ballroom floor for their first dance.This season’s lineup of athletes includes Olympic figure skaters, a former Los Angeles Lakers superstar, an NFL cornerback and a former World Series-winning Major League Baseball player, among others – all vying to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy. During their journey on the show, each one of them will reveal aspects of their lives and personalities off of their respective playing fields to uncover their true selves, their passions and what drives them to compete.Each couple will perform a cha cha, salsa, foxtrot or Viennese Waltz. At the end of the night, there will be eliminations based on judges’ scores and live viewer votes cast during the show’s live broadcast in the EDT/CDT time zones."
