The Players Championship 2018 tee times: Thursday, Round 1

Here are the tee times for Round 1 of The Players Championship from the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.

The 45th edition of The Players Championship, considered by many to be golf’s unofficial fifth major championship, gets underway this Thursday, May 10 from the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, which has played host to the PGA Tour’s biggest event since 1982. A field consisting of 144 players, including the top 50 in the world, will attempt to tame the famed venue for a chance at $11 million in prize money, including close to $2 million for the winner.

The Players Championship will see many fantastic groupings over the first two days of play, including a trio consisting of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler and a threesome of young guns in Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy. Defending champion Si Woo Kim will play the first two rounds with former Players champs Adam Scott and Martin Kaymer, both of whom were once the top-ranked player in the world.
