I’m really glad that Grey’s Anatomy got the additional episodes this season, but at what cost?

Although last week’s episode delivered great performances from everybody as they each tackled separate hurdles, having to watch Dr. Arizona Robbins inch her way toward departure with five minutes of screentime every week is absolutely brutal.

And it all led up to the final moments in “Fight For Your Mind” when she finally called Callie with a decision to move to New York. Of course, we all saw that coming. But hopefully, Geena Davis’ appearance in this week’s episode will at least throw in some sort of unexpected curveball.

That is, of course, assuming that she and Robbins get a chance to have a decent conversation amidst the chaos of whatever happens with April Kepner.

Nicole Herman brought Arizona into the world of fetal surgery. More importantly, she remains a part of Arizona’s best storylines over the course of nine seasons. That’s right — she’s been around for nine seasons and has only had about three really great storylines anyway.
