The Atlanta Dream, start their first 2018 WNBA season on the road against the Dallas Wings. Here’s all the information you need to watch online.
The Wings began their season with a tough 86-78 loss to the Mercury on Opening Night. The Wings identity should be rooted in defense this season, but they struggled to slow down Phoenix’s Diana Taurasi who scored 26 points and hitting 5-of-8 3-pointers. At the other end, Dallas’ shooters had a tough night, making just 4-of-20 from beyond the arc. They’ll be looking for smoother execution at both ends of the floor against Atlanta.
The Dream finished last season 12-22, reasonably effective on defense but struggling to score efficiently themselves. They finished 10th of the 12 WNBA teams in 3-point attempts, and dead last in 3-point percentage. The Dream return their top four scorers from last season and, while rookie Monique Billings may help with scoring in the paint, her interior game won’t add much space on the floor. If the Dream are going to take the leap this year, they’ll need to keep defending and figure out how to score more points.
This one will tip-off in the middle of Sunday’s six-game slate. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.

The WNBA has also announced an incredible initiative this season, donating $5 from the sale of every ticket to a charitable organization chosen from a slate of options by the purchaser. In addition, the league will donate an additional ticket to send a young woman or girl to a future WNBA game.
