The 2018 Tony Awards are here, so we’re telling you how to watch the Tony Awards live and watch the Tony Awards online, because with what’s lined up for this year’s ceremony you’re not going to want to miss it.

Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles — music stars, earners of past Tony Award nominations, and two people who could start their own comedy act — are hosting the show for CBS this year. They’re an inspired choice. Groban is the guy who already created one of the best moments in Emmy Award history with his TV theme song medley, and Bareilles has charisma for days. We’d watch three hours of them bantering, so of course we’re going to watch the Tonys.

But the show also features performances from all of the shows nominated for the coveted Best Musical award, and there are other surprises in store too. There’s no good reason not to be tuned in. "Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban will host The 72nd Annual Tony Awards, live from the historic Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The Tony Awards, which honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been broadcast on CBS since 1978.This year marks the 72nd anniversary of the Tony Awards, which were first held on April 6, 1947, at the Waldorf Astoria’s Grand Ballroom. The ceremony is presented by Tony Award Productions, which is a joint venture of the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, which founded the Tonys."
