A look at the final leaderboard of the 2018 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills.

The competitors at the 2018 U.S. Open went back and forth all day with birdies here and bogeys there but when all was said and done, the day belonged to Brooks Koepka, who had just enough to become only the seventh player in U.S. Open history to win back-to-back titles and the first since Curtis Strange accomplished the feat with victories in 1988 and 1989.

A final-round 68 put him at 1-over par for the tournament, one stroke clear of Tommy Fleetwood, who wowed the crowd all day and fired a 7-under round of 63, just the sixth such score in U.S. Open history and the lowest round in a U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, which was the biggest winner this week as this golf course humbled the best players in the world for four days.

No one finished at par or better. Phenomenal.

Here’s the final leaderboard for the 2018 U.S. Open from Shinnecock Hills.
