Iceland face Croatia at Rostov Arena on Tuesday, June 26. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Iceland and Croatia were in the same qualifying group for the World Cup and landed in the same group at the World Cup. Croatia will win Group D if they pick up a point against Iceland after they beat Nigeria and Argentina in their first two games. Iceland can still qualify for the round of 16 but they have to beat Croatia and have Argentina beat Nigeria by only one goal.

Croatia and Iceland split the two games in qualifying. Iceland will have to copy their game plan that worked in their win over Croatia. Gylfi Sigurdsson, Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Alfred Finnbogason are Iceland’s most talented offensive players. The trio has to produce if Iceland are going to win on Tuesday. If Iceland do not win on Tuesday, they will be eliminated. After losing 2-0 to Nigeria in their last game, Iceland have to do a better job in their own half of the field.

Luka Modric and Ivan Rakatic have been excellent for Croatia. The duo has controlled play in midfield and won the ball back when Croatia do not have the ball. While Croatia have received a lot of attention for their offensive talent, they have not received credit for how well they have played on their own side of the field.

Dejan Lovren has been heavily criticized by Liverpool fans for his inconsistent and mistake-prone play. However, at the World Cup, Lovren has elevated his play, preventing scoring opportunities and organizing Croatia defensively.
