When will Ant-Man and the Wasp open in theaters around the country? We have all the information you need to know to get you ready for the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Following the release of Avengers: Infinity War in late April (April 27 to be exact), audiences around the world began eagerly waiting for the next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

That entry would be Ant-Man and the Wasp. And while the sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man won’t continue the plot threads laid out in Infinity War — it takes place before blockbuster — it could provide fans with some much-needed information.

Scott Lang, as well as Hank Pym, Hope van Dyne and just about every character introduced in Peyton Reed’s film were noticeably absent in the Thanos-centric movie.

Ant-Man and the Wasp should not only fill audiences in as to Scott and company’s whereabouts, but also potentially divulge some key information ahead of 2019’s as-of-yet-untitled Avengers film.

The latter statement is obviously speculative, but the movie will, nonetheless, be a must-watch for fans.

When will audiences be able to see Ant-Man and the Wasp? That would be July 6 in the United States. As is the case with most big-budget blockbusters, there are screenings the night before, July 5, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, T.I., David Dastmalchian, Abby Ryder Forston and Michael Douglas all return for the film, which will also introduce a host of new faces to the franchise.

Said new faces include Michelle Pfeiffer, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park, Laurence Fishburne and Walton Goggins.

Pfeiffer will be playing Janet Van Dyne/Wasp, while John-Kamen is the film’s antagonist, Ghost. Park, Fishburne and Goggins are playing Jimmy Woo, Dr. Bill Foster and Sonny Burch, respectively.
