Luka Doncic pays tribute to All-Star Steph Curry with this dazzling shooting performance at practice.

Everyone is excited about Luka Doncic. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft is set to make his Summer League debut on Friday against the Phoenix Suns.

You only get one shot to make a first impression and Doncic does not want to miss his chance to blow. To prepare for the biggest game of his life, he’s been in the gym, getting his shot right.

What a block by the light. With that kind of defense on Doncic, the gym light should be starting at center on Friday instead of DeAndre Ayton. We can’t even say Doncic shot the lights out in the gym. The light stayed on. Where was Nosferatu to flip the switch when you need him?

While this isn’t a great start to summer for the Mavericks guard, not all is lost. Steph Curry once missed nine shots from halfcourt during All-Star weekend.

There wasn’t even a light in his way.

Expect Doncic to make us all forget about this video by the end of Friday. Either he’ll carve up the Suns defense to the tune of a 30-point triple-double or he’ll do his best Trae Young impression. No matter what happens, NBA Twitter will be on fire.

The Summer League game between the Mavericks and Suns tips off at 9:30 p.m. ET. It will air live on ESPN. Go ahead and cancel your Friday night plans.
