Lazio face Napoli at Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, Aug. 18. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Serie A season kicks off on Saturday with Lazio hosting Napoli at Stadio Olimpico. Lazio finished fifth last season, missing out on a Champions League spot after losing to Inter Milan on the last day of the season. Napoli fought with Juventus for the Serie A title for most of the season, ultimately finishing four points behind Juventus.

Lazio underwent sizeable changes in the summer. The club allowed their best defender Stefan de Vrij to leave on a free transfer and sign with Inter Milan and sold Felipe Anderson to West Ham for €38 million. The Eagles signed Joaquin Correa to replace Anderson on the wing and signed Francesco Acerbi to start in the back three. While the signings filled the void, they were a downgrade from what Lazio had last season.

Despite rumors flying around this summer, Lazio were able to hold onto Ciro Immobile after he led Serie A in scoring and dynamic midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Immobile, Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto combined for 52 of Lazio’s Serie A best 89 goals last season.

Napoli made several changes in the summer attempting to end Juventus seven-year title run. Carlo Ancelotti was brought in to replace Maurizio Sarri, who left to become the manager of Chelsea. Midfielder Jorginho, who joined Sarri at Chelsea and Pepe Reina who signed with AC Milan were the only key players to leave Naples in the summer. Napoli signed Fabian Ruiz from Real Bettis to replace Jorginho and Alex Meret to replace Reina. However, a broken arm will prevent the highly touted keeper from making his Napoli debut against Lazio. Simone Verdi was signed from Bologna, giving Napoli another attack option after he scored 10 goals last season.

While managing Napoli, Sarri used a 4-3-3 formation. Under Ancelotti, the club will likely shift to his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. The formation change will still feature Dries Mertens flanked by Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne. The biggest change under Ancelotti will be the use of captain Marek Hamsik, who has transitioned to a deeper role.
