College GameDay Week 1 live stream: Watch online
ESPN’s College GameDay is back on Saturday. Week 1 will take place from South Bend and the site of Notre Dame hosting the Michigan Wolverines.
The college football season is officially underway. On Saturday, Week 1 will feature an impressive slate of games, including some huge showdowns. It also means the return of ESPN’s College GameDay, which has cemented itself as one of the best sports shows on television.
The first week of the season will feature the show live from South Bend, Indiana. There, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will play host to the Michigan Wolverines, in what is a renewal one of the classic college football rivalries.

With so much legacy and tradition squaring off on the field, it makes sense that College GameDay is there for the return of the rivalry. There will be signs, crazy fans, students and flags waving about in attendance just as there is each week.

The show also has a celebrity guest picker each week of the season, and it is starting off with country music star Luke Bryan. As one of the judges of American Idol, Bryan is used to making the tough picks and he will have a tough decision with Notre Dame and Michigan.
There are also plenty of other great games on Saturday, and the guys on set will break down all the action before it takes place following. Lee Corso will ultimately put a mascot head on and the crowd will either cheer in support, or boo him for picking the away team. It’s always entertaining and you never know what might happen next.
