The Ducks take on the Golden Knights in a Pacific Division show down.

This will be the first meeting of the season between the Ducks and Golden Knights who have become division rivals in a short time period. The Ducks are in first place in the Pacific Division, they are coming off a two game winning streak. The Golden Knights are struggling to win games and are trying to avoid a sophomore slump.

The Golden Knights maybe struggling but they still have some dangerous players to be careful with — William Karlsson and Max Pacioretty can be hard to contain. The Ducks defense has been their only weakness thus far in the season, so they need to play better in this game. Vegas have good forwards that will take advantage of any mistake that is made.

The Ducks will have to take advantage of the Golden Knights struggling defense, they do average at least 5 goals a game. The Golden Knights have a had a tough time with puck control and they make a lot of mistakes.

Last year Anaheim dominated Vegas winning three out of four games. The Golden Knights hope to change that starting with this game.
