While the scoreline was close, United struggled to generate any scoring chances. Massimiliano Allegri’s team are again excellent in their own half. In 12 games between Serie A and Champions League, Juventus have allowed only six goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo has continued to get better as the season goes along. The Portuguese superstar has five goals and five assists in his first Serie A season, leading Juventus. As part of his move from Real Madrid, Ronaldo is earning €31 million, almost twice as much as Empoli are paying their entire team.
