It’s that time of year again, folks, the only time of the year when Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live go head-to-head on a WWE pay-per-view event. Sure, it happens during the Royal Rumble … or sometimes in matches at WrestleMania … or at Money in the Bank … or during Mixed Match Challenge. You know what? Let’s just go ahead and not put the focus on that. Either way, the second-longest-running pay-per-view in WWE is upon us and it goes down this Sunday from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The card has certainly undergone a couple of big changes in the last week. The world was all set for a rematch between WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Champion AJ Styles, who put on an instant classic a year ago, but that’s now not happening given what happened on Tuesday night when Daniel Bryan turned heel and ended the 371-day reign of Styles to recapture the WWE Championship. So we now get Lesnar vs. Bryan, which could be entertaining.

The other major change comes at the top of the women’s division as Becky Lynch was forced out of action after suffering injuries during that amazing segment on Monday Night RAW, meaning the match between she and Ronda Rousey is off, which was arguably the biggest selling point of the entire show. However, Charlotte Flair has taken the spot, bringing a match that WWE likely wanted to wait on. It should still be a good one though. I’ll speak more on that match and every other on the card in just a moment.
