Supergirl moves to Tuesday night this week to close out “Elseworlds, Part 3” and we’ve got all the details you need to watch Supergirl online or on TV.

Despite the fact that Sunday night’s are reserved for Supergirl, the Elseworlds crossover has bumped her to Tuesday instead, which is extremely telling of the impact she will have. Of course, she will appear in the other parts. But it’s a little weird that all the promotional photos for the episode focus only on Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin — neither of which should be front and center of Supergirl.

Based on the episode synopsis, we know that Act III’s clean-up will be relegated to Supergirl’s hour, sadly. Check it out below, courtesy of TV Guide:

"Supergirl, the Flash, Green Arrow and Superman engage in the battle of their lives."

No offense to the production team of Supergirl, but they’ve never particularly amazing at staging big battle sequences. At least, not lately.

However, the crossovers are usually a little spiffier, and I must give the Arrowverse credit for that. Last year’s wedding scene was pretty fun to watch all around.

It’s probably fair to say that the most exciting part of the Elseworlds crossover will be Clark and Lois’ appearances. Just based on the clip below, it seems like the Arrowverse’s Lois will be a real spitfire. And with Amy Adams reportedly out of the picture when it comes to the DC movies, we need a new Lois Lane to turn to.

Here’s a sneak peek of Sunday’s episode:

In case you’re still not sure what Elseworlds is about, here’s a handy breakdown from CBR:

"During “Elseworlds,” Oliver Queen and Barry Allen will swap lives. Thanks to Arkham Asylum doctor John Deegan, who was granted the power to rewrite reality by crossover villain The Monitor, Oliver is the Flash and Barry is the Green Arrow, and their respective teams are completely unaware of the switch."

Why couldn’t Supergirl swap with someone? “Kara Danvers is Killer Frost.” Is it because they don’t have enough interesting female characters that are leads? Did Supergirl not play ball? No one wanted to see a Melissa Benoist variant of Batgirl to Ruby Rose’s Batwoman?
