The Champions League group stage wraps up on Wednesday with Swiss champions Young Boys hosting Italian champions Juventus. Young Boys are eliminated from the Champions League and will finish last in the group after picking up only one point in their first five games. Juventus are first in the group with 12 points and have advanced to the knockout stage.
Young Boys are running away with the Swiss Super League this season but are no match for the bigger clubs in Europe. After 17 games, Young Boys have dropped only five points and hold a 19 point lead over Basel. Young Boys lost 3-0 to Juventus in the first game between the two clubs. The Swiss champs could struggle again against Juventus with two of their center-backs sidelined with injuries. Up front, Guillaume Hoarau has had a strong season, scoring 15 goals this season and will lead the attack.
Juventus have nothing to play for in the final group stage game. Winning the group is not an advantage in the knockout stage. Real Madrid finished second the last two seasons, before winning the Champions League. Massimiliano Allegri will likely rotate his squad on Wednesday, ensuring that no key players suffer an injury in a game that means very little. If Allegri does rest the majority of his starters, Moise Kean could be one player to watch. Kean is only 18-years-old but is one of the highest regarded young players in Serie A. Kean has appeared in 23 Serie A games in his career, scoring five goals. However, Kean has only played 13 minutes in all competitions this season.
