Life for the teams in SEC Baseball is never easy, and the 2019 season will be no different for all the teams looking to win the conference crown and more.

College baseball isn’t the most well-known sport nationally, but in the SEC, it’s a different story. SEC Baseball teams have devout, loyal followers, and in many circumstances, SEC baseball teams will outdraw their men’s basketball teams.

With such devotion to the sport, it should come as no surprise that SEC baseball is normally the cream of the crop almost every single year. And the years that the conference isn’t at the top, you can expect it to be very close.

2018 was no different for SEC baseball. When the dust settled in Omaha, three of the four semi-finalists at the College World Series were SEC baseball teams. Had it not been for a freak play with two outs in the ninth inning of Game Two in the Championship Series, the Arkansas Razorbacks would have brought home their first National Championship and put another star by the SEC’s reputation in the sport.

And this year should be no different. According to the D1baseball.com Preseason Top 25, there are eight SEC baseball teams ranked, and five of those teams are ranked in the Top 10.

The 2019 SEC baseball season will be a grind. So what can we expect from one of the elite conferences in the sport? Well, I’m glad you asked.
