The Players Championship 2019 tee times: Thursday, Round 1

Here are the tee times for Round 1 of the 2019 edition of The Players Championship from TPC Sawgrass.
The Players Championship is considered golf’s unofficial fifth major championship and given the field that usually shows up at TPC Sawgrass on a yearly basis, it’s not difficult to see why.
Annually one of golf’s strongest fields, the 2019 edition of The Players Championship is no different. The top players from around the world are all there and there’s some really entertaining groups set to tee it up the first two days. Defending champion Webb Simpson will be joined by two-time champ Tiger Woods and the always-interesting Patrick Reed, who’s preparing to defend his Masters title next month.
Another group that should have quite the gallery is the trio of Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and Matt Kuchar. McIlroy is the highest-ranked player in this group at No. 6 in the world and has played some great golf in 2019. However, he hasn’t always had the best of times at TPC Sawgrass and is the only member of this threesome that hasn’t won this tournament.
World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, who already has two wins in 2019, including a victory in his latest start at the WGC-Mexico Championship, is also in a featured grouping with the Spanish duo of Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia.
