Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Saturday night March 23rd and the big 10 game slate we have for this evening. Tonight we have some really interesting and huge games on the schedule. The biggest one of the bunch is probably Nashville traveling to the Great White North to take on the Jets in a battle for Central Division supremacy.

Tonight’s NHL DFS Slate:

Buffalo @ Montreal

Projected Goal Total: 5.5

NY Rangers @ Toronto

Projected Goal Total: 6.5

Boston @ Florida

Projected Goal Total: 6

Nashville @ Winnipeg

Projected Goal Total: 6

Minnesota @ Carolina

Projected Goal Total: 5.5

Pittsburgh @ Dallas

Projected Goal Total: 5.5

Tampa Bay @ St. Louis

Projected Goal Total: 6

Calgary @ Vancouver

Projected Goal Total: 6

Detroit @ Vegas

Projected Goal Total: 5.5

Anaheim @ Los Angeles

Projected Goal Total: 5.5

I find it pretty interesting that no game has a goal total over 6 tonight.

NHL DFS Goalies:

Carey Price ($8,200) is my top goalie for tonight and  will got the starting nod at home against a Buffalo Sabres team who are losers of 14 of their last 17 games. Price has won 3 of his last 5 starts against the Sabres allowing 12 goals in the process, but 6 of those came in an overtime loss earlier this season.

Tonight’s second pick in net for me is going to be Malcom Subban ($8,100) at home against the Red Wings tonight. After losing his first 4 starts this season, Subban has since gone 7-3-0 in his 10 starts since then. Subban is also undefeated at home this season with a 5-0-0 record and a  minuscule  1.98 GAA., a .926 SV% and does have 1 shutout.

Next on my list of goalies for tonight is Petr Mrazek (7,800) at home against Minnesota. Mrazek has been on fire lately winning 8 of his last 10 starts and is carrying a 1.77 GAA and a .943 SV% not to mention 3 shut outs and a 6.9 DKFP average.

Some other goalie options I am high(ish) are Jaroslav Halak ($7,900) and Jonathan Quick ($7,600)

NHL DFS
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – MARCH 05: Sebastian Aho #20 of the Carolina Hurricanes celebrates with Nino Niederreiter #21 of the Carolina Hurricanes, Justin Williams #14 and Brett Pesce #22 of the Carolina Hurricanes after scoring a goal during the second period at TD Garden on March 05, 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts. NHL DFS Top Forwards:

Top Tier:

Patrice Bergeron ($7,700) – Of course you can stack this entire line now that David Pastrnak is back but Bergeron has been the best of the bunch lately. During the Bruins current 3 game win streak Bergeron has 4 goals and 2 assists as well as 12 SOG and a 7.3 DKFP per game average.

Alexsander Barkov ($7,300) – Nobody on earth is hotter than Barkov right now and maybe only the surface of the sun is hotter than he is right now. Barkov has 6 goals and 13 assists during his 8 game point streak with 7 multi point games during his streak and has 4 straight multi point games.

Brock Boeser ($6,500) – Boeser has some success against the Flames this season with 2 goals and an assist in 4 games this season. Along with his good play against the Flames he also has an 8 game point streak with 9 total points during his streak (3 goals 6 assists)

Mid Tier:

Jamie Benn ($6,000) – Benn has 3 goals and 4 assists in his last 8 games and also has 28 shots on goal during this span. It might be too late, but Benn is finally playing at the MVP level he has shown in the past couple of years. Pittsburgh is a little suspect defensively and regularly gives up scoring chances.

Nino Niederreiter ($5,600) – Well, hello revenge narrative. Niederreiter was traded away earlier this season from Minnesota to Carolina and his game has improved greatly since. In 27 games since his trade Niederreiter is nearly a point per game player with 24 points, 12 goals and 12 assists, as opposed to just 23 points in the 46 games before the trade.

William Karlsson ($5,100) – Karlsson has 3 straight multi point games with 7 points during that span (3 goals, 4 assists). Vegas’ top line is a good stack with Karlsson centering Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith

Value Tier:

Bryan Rust ($4,100) – Rusty returned from a short 9 game stint on the IR and has played great in the 2 games since. Rust picked up 2 assists against the Hurricanes in his first game back, and then scored a critical goal against Nashville on Thursday. After returning Rust went right back on the top line with Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel.

J.T. Miller ($3,600) – Miller is another guy like Rust who plays on the top line for his team. Playing alongside Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat makes Miller a great value play. Miller also has assists in 3 straight games.

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – MARCH 09: Adrian Kempe #9 of the Los Angeles Kings high fives Matt Roy #81 after scoring a goal against the Arizona Coyotes during the first period of the NHL game at Gila River Arena on March 09, 2019 in Glendale, Arizona. (Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Top Defensemen

Top Option:

Morgan Rielly ($6,300) – Rielly has been flat of late with only 2 goals and an assist in his last 6 games. If Toronto expects to have any luck of advancing when they meet Boston, most likely, they will need all their studs to play like it, especially guys like Rielly.

Opther Options: Kris Letang ($6, 100) , Dougie Hamilton ($5,400)

Value Option:

Madison Bowey ($2,600) – For his price and the fact he plays 20 minutes a game Bowey makes for a good value play for tonight. He does have a goal and an assist in his last 4 game.

Other Options: Matt Roy ($3,700), Brian Dumoulin ($3,400)

TORONTO, ON – MARCH 11: Anthony Cirelli #71 of the Tampa Bay Lightning takes a faceoff against John Tavares #91 of the Toronto Maple Leafs during an NHL game at Scotiabank Arena on March 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
