Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Wednesday night March 27th! Tonight we have a small 4 game slate and all these games seem to be easy games for the 4 playoff teams involved. Two of the three teams I will be focusing my roster build on are at home and then other is Toronto.

Tonight’s NHL DFS Schedule:

Toronto @ Philadelphia

Projected Goal Total: 7

NY Rangers @ Boston

Projected Goal Total: 6

Dallas @ Calgary

Projected Goal Total: 5.5

Vegas @ Colorado

Projected Goal Total: 6

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY – MARCH 21: Tuukka Rask #40 of the Boston Bruins tends net against the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center on March 21, 2019 in Newark, New Jersey. The Bruins defeated the Devils 5-1. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Goalies:

With such a small slate there are not too many choices in net to use. Even though I think Toronto will win their game, I don’t know if they Flyers will take enough shots (18th in the NHL with 31.4 per game avg) to make using either Andersen or Sparks worth it and this game has the highest projected goal total.

My top goaltender tonight is going to be David Rittich ($8,200) (assuming he starts) at home against Dallas. Even though they ranked 20th in the league in SF/G Dallas does not score many goals. Dallas ranks 29th in the NHL with only 2.54 GF/G which goes well with Calgary and their 9th ranked 2.75 GA/G average. Rittich has played well of late winning 4 straight starts and allowing just 10 goals and stopping 102 of 112 shots.

Another top choice in net is Tuukka Rask ($8,300) at home against the Rangers. Boston is pretty much locked into their matchup with the Maple Leafs in the playoffs and the Rangers are a sinking ship as they try to secure as many ping-pong balls than can for the  Jack Hughes sweepstakes. Rask has been one the top goalies in the league this season, but Boston does not allow a ton of shots (29.7 SA/G) so there are more points available for Rittich in his matchup than Rask has I believe.

If you are looking for a GPP option, I like Carter Hart ($7,400) at home against Toronto. I know this sounds nuts because of how many goals Toronto can put up, but Philly’s defense is a sieve right now. In Hart’s last 4 starts the Flyers have allowed 40+ shots in 3 of those starts. Even if allows a couple of goals, making 35-40 saves and if somehow Philadelphia pulls off a win Hart could be the difference in just missing the cash line to taking down a GPP on such a small slate.

NHL DFS Top Forwards:

Brad Marchand ($7,200) – Boston’s top line is always a stacking option and tonight I decided to write-up Marchand, but honestly any one of them could be here in this spot. Marchand has 1 goal and 2 assists in two games against the Rangers already this season and has an average of 4.9 DKFP per game. Marchand also has 4 goals and 5 assists in his last 5 games as well.

Johnny Gaudreau ($6,800) – Plain and simple, Johnny Hockey has been terrible in the last month, but he is so talented that he cannot continue to be this bad (unless he’s hiding an injury). Over his last 16 games (since 2/22) Gaudreau has only 5 goals and 8 assists, but if you factor in the 6 point game he had on March 12 Johnny only has 2 goals and 5 assists. Like I said Gaudreau has been terrible, but he is too good and the Flames top line is too good to continue to be this bad.

Tyler Seguin ($6,400) – Calgary and Rittich will most likely be highly owned tonight so if you are looking for a possible contrarian play, Seguin and the Stars top line could be a good play. Seguin has 4 goals (goals in 3 straight) and 4 assists in his last 4 games.

Zach Hyman ($4,500) – Both of Toronto’s top scoring lines are in play tonight, but one player who sometimes goes under owned because he isn’t the big names Auston Matthews, John Tavaresand Mitch Marner are.  Hyman has goals in 3 straight as well as 2 assists during that span.

Pavel Buchnevich ($4,000) – This is the second straight game I am writing up Buchnevich but he responded with 4 DKFP and an assist, giving him points in 4 straight games.

Colin Wilson ($3,500) – Wilson may skate on the 3rd line for the Av’s, but he also plays on their top PP unit making him one of the top value options on the night. In his last 4 games Wilson has a goal and 3 assists.

NHL DFS Top Defensemen:

Top Tier:

Tyson Barrie ($5,800) – Barrie has 5 goals and 4 assists over the Av’s last 10 games. Barrie has averaged 3.5 shots on goal per game and has 8 blocked shots over that span. Barrie plays over 21 minutes per game while playing on Colorado’s 2nd D pair but top PP unit

Other Options: Jake Muzzin ($4,900)

Value Tier:

Radko Gudas ($4,000) – Gudas not typically a good fantasy option as he is only on pace for his 3rd 20 point season of his career but he has been a fairly viable fantasy option this season. Over his last 10 games he is averaging 2.9 DKFP per game.

Other Options: Deryk Engelland ($3,100)

NHL DFS Line Stacks:

Tonight’s top line stack for me is the Maple Leafs top PP unit, actually both of their PP units are good options and you can’t really go wrong with either most likely. ( Philadelphia has the 21st ranked PK% )

More from FanSided

NAZEM KADRI
JOHN TAVARES
MITCH MARNER
AUSTON MATTHEWS
MORGAN RIELLY

Staying in the same game for my second stack of the night, the Flyers 2nd line is another good play tonight.

OSKAR LINDBLOM
SEAN COUTURIER
JAKUB VORACEK

Other Options: NYR PP1, Bos PP1, CGY PP2 (value), VGK 2

NHL DFS Core Plays:

Starting in net tonight I am hoping David Rittich plays so I can just lock him in for my goalie tonight. After that I look to the Toronto/Philadelphia game and use William Nylander and Jake Muzzin from the Leafs 2nd PP unit, and then from Philly I am using Sean Couturier and Oskar Lindblom . Last I want the Bruins top line with Bran Marchand and Patrice BergeronThis only leaves $3,950 for one defensemen and your utility spot.
