NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight’s top goaltending choice for me is Jordan Binnington ($7,800) on the road against New Jersey. The Devils are 22nd in the league in goals for (2.70) and average over 30 shots on goal per game (30.2). Binnington has been the best goalie in the NHL since his call up at the end of December and with how awful New Jersey’s offense is, there’s a good chance Binnington picks up some big points tonight. If Jake Allen gets the start tonight, since Binnington played last night, I am fine with playing him against this New Jersey team.

My second choice in net is Mikko Koskinen ($7,800) against the leagues worst offense, the Anaheim Ducks. Koskinen has a 1-0-1 record against Anaheim this season with a 1.50 GAA, a .949 SV%, and averaging 5.6 DKFP per game. With both Koskinen and Binnington at the same price against bad teams it’s really a toss-up.

Robin Lehner ($8,100) and the Islanders take on the Sabres at home tonight. Lehner has won 3 straight starts and has allowed 6 goals in the three wins, including a 31 save shutout of Arizona.

UNIONDALE, NEW YORK – MARCH 05: Anthony Duclair #10 of the Ottawa Senators skates against the New York Islanders at NYCB Live’s Nassau Coliseum on March 05, 2019 in Uniondale, New York. The Islanders defeated the Senators 5-4 in the shoot-out. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Top Forwards:

Top Tier:

Toronto Maple Leafs: Ok, so they are not an individual forward, but the top 6 of the Maple Leafs is in play tonight as well as both of their power play units. In 3 games against the Senators this season, Toronto has 10 goals for, and don’t sleep on Ottawa in this game because they have actually put up 15 goals in the 3 games against Toronto, but more on them later.

Connor McDavid ($8,000) -If you don’t want to play the Maple Leafs top 6, the Oilers combo of McDavid and Leon Draisaitl  ($7,800) is another top option. McDavid and Draisaitl have combined for 13 goals and 24 assists over the last 10 games for the Oilers.

Vladimir Tarasenko ($6,800) – Tarasenko might as well be the owner of the Devils, in his career he has played 10 games against New Jersey and the Blues have won all 10 games. In his last 5 games against the Devils Tarasenko has 3 goals and 10 assists. Tarasenko is my favorite one-off play tonight

Mid Tier:

Matt Duchene ($6,000) – Duchene and the Jackets have found themselves back in the playoff mix with a big win over the Canadiens earlier this week. Over his last 2 games Duchene has 3 assists and totaled 8.5 DKFP.  Duchene along with Ryan Dzingel and Josh Anderson have been a good line after developing some chemistry lately and make for a good low owned GPP stack tonight

Mathew Barzal ($5,700)- Barzal scored his first goal since February 16th (20 games) on Thursday night against Winnipeg and also added an assist. New York is trying to secure home ice in the first round against Pittsburgh and need 2017-18 Calder winner to get it going heading into the postseason.

Jakob Silfverberg ($4,900) – Anaheim is just playing out the string in the final week of the season but that doesn’t mean they don’t play hard, this is the NHL after all. Silfverberg has been playing well in his last 5 with 2 goals and 3 assists during the span and has an average of 3.8 DKFP.

Value Tier:

Miles Wood ($4,400) – Over the last 7 games for the Devils Wood has been one of their better players with 6 points (4 goals 2 assists). Wood plays on the Devils 3rd line, but does also get PP time with the second unit, which could be another good GPP stack for multi-entry contests since the Blues goalie will most likely be a high owned play.

Victor Olofsson ($4,000) – In his first career game the Sabres rookie picked up an assist while playing alongside Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart and on the first PP unit while playing over 16 minutes. I love a mini stack with either Eichel or Reinhart tonight if you aren’t using Lehner in net.

Anthony Duclair ($3,600) – In what could be the highest scoring game on the night I want to get exposure to this game.It should be easy to do with the Senators players priced so low in comparison to the Leafs top players. Duclair is one of my favorite plays for this game, and comes in with points in 6 of the Senators last 7 games (3 goals 3 assists)

NHL DFS Defensemen:

Top Tier:

Victor Hedman ($6,000) – Hedman has 1 goal and 3 assists in his last 4 games against Washington, including 1 goal and 2 assists in 2 games this season. In his last 5 games overall Hedman has 3 goals and 5 assists. Hedman is my overall top D play and even if I cannot fit any of the other Tampa top PP unit guys in, I want to try to fit Hedman in for sure.

Other Options: Seth Jones ($5,800), Darnell Nurse ($5,200)

Value Tier:

Miro Heiskanen ($4,100) – Heiskanen has been the most reliable and consistent D man for the Stars this season playing in all 78 games thus far for the team. In the Stars last 3 games Heiskanen has 2 goals and an assist. The Stars rookie defensman plays on the teams 2nd D pair and 2nd PP unit and plays over 23 minutes per game

Other Options: Tyler Myers ($3,800), David Savard ($3,600)

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 27: Erik Gustafsson #56, Dylan Strome #17, Patrick Kane #88 and Jonathan Toews #19 congratulate Alex DeBrincat #12 of the Chicago Blackhawks after his goal during the second period of a game against the Anaheim Ducksat Honda Center on February 27, 2019 in Anaheim, California. NHL DFS Line Stacks:

Tonight my top line stacks, outside of the Maple Leafs and McDavid line, is the Chicago Blackhawks top PP unit. Yes, Jonathan Quick is still a good goalie, but he is not at as good as he once was. Chicago should take advantage of the Kings 29th ranked PK as well tonight.

More from FanSided

DYLAN STROME
JONATHAN TOEWS
PATRICK KANE
ERIK GUSTAFSSON
ALEX DEBRINCAT

Another top PP unit to look at is from the game I am targeting the most tonight. Ottawa’s top PP unit is a good low-priced option to pair with the Toronto top PP unit. Ottawa is actually middle of the league in PP efficiency, ranked 16th in the league.

BRADY TKACHUK
COLIN WHITE
MIKKEL BOEDKER
THOMAS CHABOT
BOBBY RYAN

Other Options: St. Louis 1, Washington 1 and PP 1, Tampa Bay PP 1, Vegas 1 and 2, San Jose PP 2, Dallas 2 (value), Vancouver 2

NHL DFS Lineup Build:

I am starting my build tonight with Koskinen in net, and then focusing on the Tor/Ott game. I am utilizing the Leafs top PP unit with Nazim Kadri  and Mitch Marner from the Leafs, and then from Ottawa I want Duclair, Mikkel Boedker& Bobby Ryan. As I mentioned in the defense section I am locking Hedman tonight as well. After all these players are locked in I have $6,950 left per play for a second center and second defensemen.
