Kawhi Leonard and Game of Thrones combined to give us one of the craziest nights of WTF action in recent memory — and it’s no question who dominated.

Game of Thrones is coming to an end, and so is the NBA playoffs. With one of the last episodes airing on HBO at the same time as Game 7 Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia 76ers, there was competition with who got the most eyeballs.

Kawhi Leonard ended that debate.

After Jimmy Butler tied up the game with 8 seconds left, Kawhi Leonard does what Kawahi Leonard does and hit the most INSANE shot to send the Toronto Raptors into the Eastern Conference Finals to face the Milwaukee Bucks.

The shot hung in the air for what felt like 10 minutes and took a big bounce off the rim and three more little bounces before it fell into the hoop. it was so quiet you could hear a direwolf breathe in the arena. That is the kind of drama that the Game of Thrones writers could not even create.

Look at the shot.

Really look.

Observe the reactions from Kawhi, the rest of the Raptors and the crowd. When the ball went in, every single person in Canada jumped up at once and you could feel a shock from British Columbia all the way to Nova Scotia.

Usually, Sunday nights are filled with tweets about GoT and the trending topics are all about the show. Well, not tonight. Kawhi Leonard took the spotlight and was the most talked about thing on the internet. I guess we know who the true king of the north is.

With daggers like that, Kawhi could find himself sitting on the Iron Throne at the end of season 8.
