Real Madrid host Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, May 18 for their last game of the season. Here’s all the info you need to watch the match.

A miserable season for Real Madrid will finish on Sunday at home to Real Betis. Despite the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, many Madrid fans entered the season with some optimism with former Spain manager, Julen Lopetegui, proving an exciting but also risky selection as manager. After a good start, Madrid’s season took a turn for the worst in October and the club has never recovered. Two embarrassing Clasico defeats, two more managers and a number of other humiliating defeats which saw the capital club’s season practically end in March have been the story of the campaign and a rebuild job awaits Los Blancos in the summer.

Real Betis haven’t had a great season by their own standards either. The visitors were tipped for European football however, they look set to finish midtable, closer to relegation fighting Villarreal than their preseason target. The succcesses of the previous seem long in the past for Quique Setien and he will be desperate to end the year on the high of back to back wins. It won’t be easy, Real Betis might have won here last season, but it was only their third victory at the Bernabeu in the last 20 fixtures.

Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas could make an appearance for the host as they look set to leave Madrid in the summer. Jesus Vallejo and Casemiro are both suspended for the hosts. Antonio Barragan, Sergio Canales and Joaquin Sanchez are all out for Betis.
