What to see and do at Starrcast II

Starrcast II is making its way to Las Vegas to coincide with AEW’s Double or Nothing event being held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Here’s what you can see and do during the weekend at Starrcast II.

The initial Starrcast event was such a huge success that it’s returning for a second year with even more guests, panels and parties. One of the big highlights of Starrcast II was meant to be the Roast of Ric Flair. Unfortunately, Flair had to pull out of the entire event due to health reasons. However, there’s still a lot to see and do, especially if you’re heading to Vegas for Double or Nothing anyway. Here’s what you can expect:

Live Shows

If you’ve ever wanted to be in the room while some of your favorite podcasts were being aired now is your chance. Over at Caesars Palace you’ll find popular podcasts like 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff; The Taz Show; Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard; The House of Hardcore with Tommy Dreamer and, of course, Talk is Jericho. You can expect the unexpected from any of them.

Parties

What would a weekend of wrestling be without a few parties? The official after-party for Double or Nothing is going to be hosted by SCU and takes place at Caesars Palace directly after Double or Nothing ends. For those looking to get a little more hyped, they’ve included VIP access and an open bar (both available through separate purchase). Over at the Tuscany Suites and Casino you’ll find Starrcast Karaoke hosted by Bill Apter to get your groove on, or you can head over to the Viceland Theater to “Get High and Watch Wrestling” with Sean Waltman and comedian Ron Funches.

If you weren’t able to get into Double or Nothing fear not: Starrcast is offering tickets for a viewing party where you can watch all the action and maybe see some surprise guests.

Meet n’ Greets

One of the big reasons wrestling fans like to attend conventions is to meet their favorite stars. Starrcast has outdone themselves with the list of names who will be at the event including Sting, Bret Hart, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, “Hangman” Adam Page and the nWo (Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, Eric Bischoff) among many others. You can even have a meal with your favorite star during the special Eat and Greets. For a full list of who’s attending you can head over to https://www.starrcast.com/starrs

Panels

Rounding out Starrcast are panels and other special appearances. You can hear stories from Sting and Bret “The Hitman” Hart on their respective wrestling careers. Double or Nothing will have a special press conference and weigh-in on Friday, May 24. Cody and The Young Bucks will be discussing the biggest night of their career and the formation of AEW. Lita will be holding a panel about women’s wrestling, and so much more.
