Drake won the troll game after Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals, but Kevin Durant clapped back with some heat of his own after Game 2.

The rapper named Drake got his troll on during Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals in many different moments. That worked out pretty well for him because the Toronto Raptors won that game, but the Golden State Warriors responded in Game 2 with a 109-104 victory.

Not only did they beat the Raptors on the floor, but they also managed to troll Drake in person off of it.

Kevin Durant was filmed calling Drake by this birth name, Aubrey, in a stadium tunnel after the game.

“See you in the Bay Aubrey. It’s alright, it’s OK,” Durant taunted at the rapper. “Keep your head up.”

Klay Thompson got in on the fun too.

“You weren’t talking tonight were ya? Bum ass. That was light work too,” Thompson said.

Drake’s antics against the Warriors have been covered quite extensively, but the cliff notes are these incidents.

First, he did the “Hotline Bling” dance in front of Thompson. Also, he has tattoos of Durant and Stephen Curry’s jersey numbers on his arm that he covered up with armbands for Game 1, and that’s just frankly a little weird. Then, while Drake was wearing a Dell Curry Raptors jersey, he took some of Curry’s hair lint and put it up for sale on eBay with the username DraymondShouldn’tWear23.

We are definitely living through a Spike Lee’s New York Knicks vs. the Indiana Pacers type of situation right now, and it will be fascinating to see how this plays out. If Drake wants to achieve Spike-Lee-level-celebrity-fan status, then he sure as heck better fly his way out to the Bay per Thompson’s and Durant’s comments.

Thompson played excellent basketball in Game 2. He dropped 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in only 32 minutes, and his health might end up being the key to the series. He did injure his hamstring during the last contest, though, and is “questionable” for Game 3, but the Warriors seem to believe he’ll at least give it a shot. Durant, on the other hand, will only play on Wednesday if he can get through a practice according to head coach Steve Kerr.

The rapper’s actual name is Aubrey Drake Graham, and whether or not the Warriors continue calling him by his first name or his middle name will dictate which direction this series leans.
