Welcome to NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday afternoons NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Michigan International Speedway (MIS). On Saturday the NASCAR Xfinity Series competes in the 28th running of the LTi Printing 250. Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell and Cole Custer have distanced themselves from the field in the win column with 3 wins each for Custer and Bell, and Reddick with 2.

They aren’t the only capable drivers in the field with a bunch of great drivers looking to get on the board including JR Motorsports pilot Justin Allgaier. Michigan is a track where Allgaier has had some success. In 8 Xfinity series’ starts at Michigan, Allgaier has posted a top five and four top 10’s, including a ninth-place finish last season here.

NASCAR DFS – Leaders of the Pack

This week there are 3 drivers that are head and shoulders above the rest of the field and they just happened to run 1st (Bell), 2nd (Custer), 3rd (Reddick) in final practice on Friday. I believe that it will take rostering 2 of these drivers to take down a contest on Saturday. With only $900 difference in their prices it will come to where they qualify for me before I decided where I want to end up ($10,500 – $11,400).

If you want to take a chance and fade 2 of these drivers, there is another option that I like…

Justin Allgaier ($10,200)

2019 Avg Finish: 12.3

Like I mentioned in the open, Allgaier has had some past success here and will most likely be one of the cars running up with the “big 3” throughout the day. In final practice on Friday, Allgaier was 7th , and he was 6th in first practice with the best 10 lap average time.

NASCAR DFS – Middle of the Pack

Noah Gragson ($8,800)

2019 Avg Finish: 10.8

Gragson is coming off his best finish (3rd) since all the back in early March at Las Vegas (3rd) and also has back to back top 10’s. This week Gragson and his #9 Chevy look fast again with an 8th fastest lap in final practice and the 2nd fastest 10 lap average.

Brandon Jones ($8,000)

2019 Avg Finish: 16.8

Brandon Jones had some bad luck last week when he wrecked early at Pocono and would end up with a 38th place finish, but before that he had back to back top 10’s. Jones has a car that ran right around the top 10 in single lap times, but did have the 3rd fastest 10 lap average in final practice. Last season Jones came home 19th in this race last year.

Jeb Burton ($7,800)

2019 Avg Finish: 6th

Jeb Burton is back in the #8 this week for the 3rd time in 2019 and will look to add to his 2 top 10 finishes this season. Burton had the 10th best lap in final practice on Friday which is an improvement from his 13th place finish in first practice.

Other Options: Ryan Sieg ($9,000), Paul Menard ($8,500), Riley Herbst ($8,200)

NASCAR DFS – Back of the Pack

Jeremy Clements ($7, 400)

2019 Avg Finish: 20.3

Clements is a little higher priced then I would like, but he has a car that can make value for you on Saturday. Clements ended up in 18th in final practice on Friday afternoon. Last season in this race Clements had a 15th place finish after starting 21st, which bodes well for us.

Dillon Bassett ($6,500)

2019 Avg Finish: 15th

Bassett and the #90 team have built a fast car for this weekend and in their second race together this season. In final practice this weekend Bassett came in with the 4th fastest lap time. I don’t think Bassett will be a top 5 car today, but the potential for a top 20, maybe top 15 finish could be in the cards for the #90 team.

Tyler Hill ($5,500)

2019 Avg Finish: 24th

Make sure you pick the right T. Hill today because I don’t think Timmy Hill is a good play. Tyler Hill did end up with a 28th place finish in the final standings from Friday’s practice, but he did come out with an 11th place 10 lap average. At this extremely low price a 25th or better finish will be a great day for this car.

Other Options: Joe Graf Jr. ($7,100), Josh Williams ($6,700)
