Why isn’t The Bachelorette new tonight, June 10? TV fans may have noticed that ABC‘s reality dating show is missing from the schedule Monday, which might be confusing since it’s also one of the network’s top-rated series.

So what’s happening? It turns out that Hannah Brown’s dating life has been put on hold for Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. ABC is the TV network for the 2019 NBA Finals, and with the Warriors series against the Toronto Raptors extending to a fifth game, the Alphabet has had to bump its regular Monday night programming to show the basketball game. Even if said program is one of fans’ favorites.

Don’t change your plans too quickly, though! ABC is doing something a little different to placate Bachelor Nation. Instead of pushing the next Bachelorette season 15 episode off until next week, they’ve only delayed it by a day. The series will air at its normal time tomorrow.

That means fans only have about 24 hours to see the next fight between bachelors, and find out who the next contestant is that makes Hannah emotional or conflicted. Plus, more wild challenges are certainly on the way as ABC begins the international portion of the season by moving the show to Scotland!

So while the answer to “Why isn’t The Bachelorette new tonight?” is likely to upset a whole lot of people, especially those who got up in arms about those tornadoes, ABC deserves some praise for getting the next episode out as soon as possible. At least this gives viewers time to restock their popcorn.
