WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 match card

Big E and Xavier Woods vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

Made official on Tuesday, this tag match between The New Day members not named Kofi Kingston and the duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn comes after constant run-ins with one another in the past couple of weeks. Big E has finally been cleared to go and he and Xavier Woods will be looking for their own revenge on Owens’ infiltration of the stable.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak vs. Akira Tozawa (Triple Threat Match)

There was a bit of controversy surrounding the fatal four-way No. 1 contender’s match on 205 Live and as a result, both Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa will get the chance to dethrone WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs. Heavy Machinery

As seemingly the only real contenders to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Heavy Machinery will get their shot at gold when they take on titleholders Daniel Bryan and Rowan.

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

In a WrestleMania 35 rematch, Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre will go one-on-one as part of Reigns’ battles with Shane McMahon. McIntyre blindsided Reigns a couple of weeks ago at Super ShowDown, allowing McMahon to pick up a victory, and Reigns will be looking for revenge this Sunday at Stomping Grounds.

WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet

With Rey Mysterio on the shelf, WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe needed a new challenger and that will come in the form of Ricochet, who earned his way into this matchup by winning a fatal five-way elimination match this past Monday on Raw.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss

After failing to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on Monday night, Alexa Bliss takes her next shot gold at Stomping Grounds as she challenges Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Bliss’ partner and new BFF Nikki Cross, not happy with Bayley’s involvement in the tag title match, will be in Bliss’ corner.

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin

A rematch from Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin will once again do battle for the WWE Universal Championship. This time, however, Corbin will name the special guest referee, which he’s been trying to get done with little success as the champion has been taking out competitors left and right with a steel chair. And will Brock Lesnar be hanging around with his Money in the Bank briefcase?

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans may have lost her Raw Women’s Championship Match to Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank but she got the last laugh that night by costing “The Man” her SmackDown Women’s Championship. Will she turn “Becky one belt” into “Becky no belts” on Sunday night?

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler (Steel Cage Match)

Also a rematch from Super ShowDown, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will once again defend his title against Dolph Ziggler. The change in this world title bout is that it will this time be contested within the confines of a steel cage.
