A brief intro – I’m Dan Everhart also known as “Big Bear” in the fantasy sports world. I’m an enormous NBA fan (and NFL fan) and am incredibly excited for the upcoming seasons. Do you realize it’s been almost 10 years since there wasn’t an incredibly obvious favorite to win the championship? I love it! Let’s look at NBA Free Agency and the aftermath for DFS.

The world awoke to a Woj bomb tweet this morning and it was nuclear in the NBA Free Agency market. Basically no one saw it coming… Kawhi Leonard and Paul George (!!!) are both going to the LA Clippers?!? WHOA!

As a fan of the NBA and just good basketball in general, my head is spinning at how amazing the upcoming year looks from a competitive standpoint. But what impact will this move and the other NBA free agency signings have on the world of fantasy sports and DFS?

I’m going to take a high level look into the daily fantasy implications for the upcoming season. It’s never too early to prepare yourself for takedowns on FanDuel and DraftKings or your other preferred sites as the NBA regular season will be back before you know it. Let’s get started shall we?
