Fantasy Football 2019 – QB 1 Rankings

Can you believe it? NFL football is only a month away! The Chicago Bears an the Green Bay Packers kick off another NFL season Thursday, September 5. That exciting deadline is critical for fantasy football commissioners and owners.

The fact that the season is only 1 month away ushers in anxiety and hope. Anxiety that 8+ owners need to coordinate a time in which everyone is available to draft. Hope is the feeling of confidence to get every year before your first round “no brainer” draft pick flames out do to nagging injuries and poor team support.

All that aside, the NFL is back! And with it, the game that American’s over-indulge: Fantasy Football. Fantasy football is a perfect balance of competition, strategy, and camaraderie. Whether you are in a league with your boys, your family, or complete strangers; the end goal is the same. Total annihilation. It is trophy or bust.

I am here to help you get closer to that trophy. How am I going to do that, you ask? It is all about the pre-draft ranking’s. Preparation is key.

NFL coaches spend 7 days preparing for a 60 minute game against a known opponent. You are given the task of preparing for a >60 minute draft against a gaggle of wild cards you call friends.

I cannot draft your team for you, but I can give you the most important tool you need to succeed – player rankings. Yes, there are a bunch of touts out there selling rankings or handing them out as click bait. That is not what you should read!

What makes my rankings different from those other jokers is the fact that I am providing you with targets and fades. I am giving you the text book and interpreting the text.

In this article I have outlined 12 QB’s (The QB1’s) that should be on your list of players to target in your upcoming fantasy football re-draft. I also provide detail on why I am targeting certain QBs and fading others.

You may ask how I can rank a player so highly and call them a fade at the same time? The rankings are how I feel they should be valued entering the 2019-20 season. My fade / target suggestion is just a suggestion as to why I think they will exceed my ranking expectation.

Best of luck to all! May the trophy sit on your mantle in 2020!
