Here’s the recap of all the high-flying action you may have missed from this week’s episode of 205 Live. Watch the Cruiserweights every Tuesday night at 8 PM ET on the WWE Network.

On this week’s 205 Live, they held their own version of a Survivor Series match. Over the last few days, Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak and his foe, Oney Lorcan, used Twitter to announce their picks for their teams. It was quite entertaining. Lorcan put together a team that was not only stacked, but had connections to the champ. For his last pick, Gulak requested for Superstars to tell them why they should be on his team. Tony Nese made a video making his case and was selected.

The entire 205 Live episode was dedicated to the Captain’s Challenge. Ariya Daivari, Mike Kanellis, Angel Garza, Nese and Gulak come to the ring first. Jack Gallagher, Akira Tozawa, Humberto Carrillo, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Lorcan make their way to face their opponents. If you’re keeping track of Lorcan’s gear, he had on red trunks and purple boots.

Once Team Lorcan gets to the ring, all Hell breaks loose with everyone attacking each other. Team Lorcan is quickly left standing when Gallagher retrieves umbrellas to give to his teammates. With his umbrella in the air, The Gentleman yells “Fly!” and they jump outside the ring onto Team Gulak. Nigel McGuinness quotes “It’s Raining Men” and the bell rings.

Swerve starts the match off against his former teacher Gulak. Garza makes his way in next and faces his cousin, Carrillo. McGuinness claims that Carrillo’s family is upset with him because he changed his name. Team members filter their way into the match. Once Kanellis gets in against Tozawa, we see Maria watching backstage. Kanellis pins Tozawa to eliminate him and his wife is pleased. Unfortunately, he is almost immediately pinned by Gallagher. She is now displeased. The match continues cycling through the teams, though Lorcan has yet to be tagged in.

The announce team alerts fans to a commotion backstage. A split screen is shown of The Brian Kendrick arguing with Gallagher about last week’s match. Tozawa was facing Gallagher and Kendrick was bouncing the ropes. Gallagher’s foot slid off and he lost. Gallagher says Kendrick did it on purpose and wants to face him next week.

Back in the ring, Daivari is one-on-one with Scott. Daivari tags in Gulak who pins Scott. Carrillo and Garza again face off. McGuinness quips that Garza is the black sheep of the family, while Carrillo is the lamb.

There’s a cutaway again, this time to Lucha House Party. They’re discussing who attacked Kalisto last week. Kalisto claims that he heard it was Daivari. Lince Dorado seems suspicious, but Kalisto says he’ll beat a confession out of him next week.

Lorcan is finally tagged in and he attacks the opposing team. After doing a double blockbuster on Daivari and Garza, he throws Gulak over the announce table. He turns his attention to Daivari by repeatedly punching him against the barricade. Gulak grabs a chair and hits Lorcan several times until he’s disqualified.

This doesn’t matter to Gulak as he continues hitting Lorcan with the chair. Lorcan tags Carrillo in against Daivari. What’s left of Team Gulak gang up on Carrillo. Lorcan somehow musters up the strength to get back on the apron. Aiden English compares him to the Black Knight in Monty Python.

Lorcan quickly eliminates Daivari and Carrillo tags himself in. It’s familia vs. familia once again (if you drank every time commentary said they were cousins, you’d be hammered by now). Carrillo pins his cousin and gets the win for Team Lorcan. The match went about 45 minutes.

As we go off air, English asks a good question: who is next in line to face Gulak; Lorcan or Carrillo?
