Seth Rollins will defend his WWE Universal Championship this Sunday at Hell in a Cell against The Fiend, Bray Wyatt.

This Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, Seth Rollins will defend his Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt, otherwise known as The Fiend. Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House has focused largely on the Rollins match leading up to Hell in a Cell, and the Fiend has randomly shown up for almost all of Rollins’ matches over the last few weeks.

Rollins is known for being a fighting champion, something he’s not shy about promoting. He wants TV time, he wants to fight and he has no problem putting his title on the line, even when the match changes from Rey Mysterio to Rusev. Rollins has been blindsided, the victim of ringside interference, beaten with steel chairs and more in defense of his title or in an effort to gain it back. But every time he gets back up, he continues to fight, he pushes through the pain and finds the will power to keep going when others would give up. One of the hardest things to overcome when fighting Rollins is his toughness, both mental and physical.

The Fiend has been one of those who have blindsided Rollins, attacked when he couldn’t see it coming. But Wyatt doesn’t hide behind those attacks; he’s a different beast than, say, Dolph Ziggler. Wyatt owns his actions, which makes him all the more scary when he shows up as The Fiend. The Fiend has no conscience. The Fiend has no remorse. The Fiend has no fear. The Fiend only lives to destroy, Beetlejuice pants and all. And October is a prime month for such a foe to take over. It’s almost Halloween, and The Fiend is scary.

Even Rollins is scared. It’s visible on his face whenever he mentions Wyatt. He can’t get it out of his head, not that Wyatt would let him. So this Sunday, not only will Wyatt challenge Rollins physically in the ring, but he will do everything he can to get into Rollins’ head. He’s already started that process as it is, likely causing Rollins to lose sleep at night.

This fight is going to be good. Rollins’ toughness will be challenged on all levels and Wyatt’s true talent will become visible. Look for the two men to steal the show with this match, no matter who becomes the victor.

Rollins won’t give up his title easily, but Wyatt won’t give up easily, either. Like the Raw Women’s Championship match between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, this could be an instant classic.
