Four Week 8 games have double-digit spreads as two teams remain undefeated and another two are still winless.

It’s officially the halfway point of the 2019 NFL season and after next Monday night, most teams around the league will have played eight of their scheduled 16 regular-season contests.

For squads like the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals, the goal is to avoid remaining winless; the pair are the last zero-win teams in the league, but their Week 8 opponents (Los Angeles Rams for the Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers for the Dolphins) may be too formidable to overcome.

Three more teams are staring down single wins so far this season and another seven have just two (as of Sunday night), so much of the league is in crunch time and quickly seeing any playoff hopes slip away.

Conversely, the cream of the crop is quickly rising. The New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers both remain undefeated, while the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers and the surprising Buffalo Bills are right behind, with only one loss for each squad. Contenders and pretenders are starting to reveal themselves, and the consensus odds are starting to reflect that.

Let’s take a look at the early consensus odds for Week 8 of the NFL season, provided by The Action Network.
