Two of the best tag teams in the world are set to do battle in a faction vs. faction contest at Full Gear.

The tag team of Proud and Powerful, formerly known as EYFBO and LAX, have made quite a bit of noise in their time in AEW. The former IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions made their debut in AEW by attacking The Lucha Bros, made their Dynamite debut by attacking The Elite and aligning with Chris Jericho and also ruined the unveiling of the AEW Tag Team Titles by mugging The Rock n Roll Express.

Proud and Powerful seem to be The Inner Circle’s answer to The Young Bucks as each unit seems to have a mirror rival between the two groups. Jericho called out The Young Bucks on behalf of his “pitbulls” after they handily defeated the team of Alex Reynolds and John Silver and since then, Proud and Powerful have had the aces of the tag division in their sights.

Proud and Powerful are coming into this match with the mindset that they can’t lose this contest. This will be the biggest match of their careers and a loss here will put them in the afterthought of the tag division and may lower their potential in the eyes of Jericho.

The Young Bucks also are coming into this match desperate for a win.

After losing to The Lucha Bros, The Inner Circle and Private Party, The Bucks are backed into a corner. The Bucks talked a big game coming into AEW and if they can’t secure some big wins soon then fans may start to view their claims as empty and false. The Bucks also will be attempting to remind their opponents that this is their company and Proud and Powerful need to pay for their actions over the past month.

This is a highly anticipated contest that fans have been wanting to see for years. Betting fans may have Proud and Powerful as the likely winners but AEW fans can never count The Young Bucks out. This contest could easily be match of the night when AEW takes the stage in Baltimore on Saturday night.
