The fifth game of the Champions League group stage kicks off on Tuesday with Galatasaray playing Club Brugge at Turk Telekom Stadium in Istanbul. With Paris Saint-Germain clinching a spot in the knockout stage and Real Madrid holding a five-point lead, Tuesday’s game will likely determine which club advances to the Europa League knockout stage.

Galatasaray are having a disappointing season and are eighth in the Turkish Super Lig. The poor play has carried over into the Champions League, where the Lions are still looking for their first goal of the tournament. After a scoreless draw in their first game against Brugge, Galatasaray have lost three straight games. In their last group stage game, the Lions were embarrassed, losing 6-0 against Real Madrid. Scoring their first Champions League goal will likely be a challenge on Tuesday. Galatasaray have scored 13 goals in all competitions this season. Ryan Babel, Florin Andone and Falcao have combined for seven of the club’s 13 goals and are all unlikely to play on Tuesday.

Club Brugge have opened up a six-point lead at the top of the Jupiler Pro League table. In the Champions League, Brugge drew their first two games of the tournament before suffering back to back losses against PSG. Unlike Galatasaray, Brugge have scored goals in bunches this season. The Smurfs have scored 47 in their 24 games across all competitions. Hans Vanaken and David Okereke have combined for 20 goals this season, while Ruud Vormer has 13 assists.
