Barcelona face Borussia Dortmund at Camp Nou on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In one of the premier games of the Champions League group stage, Barcelona host Borussia Dortmund at Camp Nou. Barcelona are first in the group with eight points, one point ahead of Dortmund. In the first game of the group stage, Dortmund outplayed Barcelona but were held to a scoreless draw.

Barcelona are first in La Liga but have dropped points to teams in the middle of the table. That trend has continued into the Champions League for the reigning Spanish champions. In their last group stage game, Barcelona were held to a scoreless draw by European minnow Slavia Prague at Camp Nou. The draw was the first time all season that manager Ernesto Valverde’s team have dropped points in front of their home supporters. Barcelona can advance to the knockout stage with a victory over Dortmund on Wednesday. If Valverde’s team are going to win, they will need a much better performance from Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan striker has nine goals in all competitions this season but was invisible in the first game against Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund are struggling as they go into the penultimate game of the group stage. Lucien Favre’s team have only one point in their last two games but have conceded seven goals. Dortmund went down 3-0 to newly promoted Paderborn before coming back to steal a point. Despite holding a double-digit point lead, Favre saw his team lose the title race last season because they could not defend. Favre spent the summer attempting to fix his club’s defensive woes but it is clear that he has not solved that problem.

While Dortmund have struggled to defend, they have been able to outscore their mistakes. Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer have each scored seven goals this season. For Alcacer, it could be a revenge game. The Spanish striker struggled to get consistent playing time while with Barcelona. With Dortmund, Alcacer has been incredible, scoring goals at a rapid rate. Alcacer could make his former team look foolish to sell him if he can score on Wednesday.
