Is Costco open on Black Friday? And will I need a membership to shop there?

You’ve finished at least two-three rounds of Thanksgiving feasting and the last thing you probably want to think about is eating again. So, of course, the next best thing is shopping. And what a better place to work off the Thanksgiving stuffing than by walking the aisles of your neighborhood Costco, eating the samples and buying a 45 pack of toilet paper.

And you are in luck. Costco is open on Black Friday but unlike some other shops, they won’t be opening early on Thursday so you really will have to wait until Friday to shop till you drop.

The bulk chain opens at 9 a.m on Friday, and not one minute earlier. But that’s ok, right? There’s plenty of other places you can shop to get some deals in the meantime.

Here are a few deals that Costco is offering on Black Friday:

• $60 off a Ring doorbell
• $220 off a Samsung 12.2″ Touchscreen 2-in-1 Chromebook
• $120 off a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series Touchscreen Laptop

The good thing is that you don’t even have to be in the store for these deals, they are on Costco.com too, but you will need to have a membership, which in the long run will be worth it — trust me. Where else can you get a hot dog and a drink for $1.50?

So if you are in the need for a jumble jar of pickles, a 40-pound package of ground beef or a washer and dryer (no judgment) Costco is the place to be on Black Friday.
