Here’s the recap of all the high-flying action you may have missed from this week’s episode of 205 Live. Watch the cruiserweights every Friday night at 10 PM.

Last week’s 205 Live was pre-empted so that Friday Night SmackDown could go over it’s time limit with the invasion from Monday Night RAW and NXT ahead of Survivor Series.

At Survivor Series, Lio Rush successfully defended the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Akira Tozawa and Kalisto. Just three days later, he again successfully defended his title against Tozawa on NXT.

Tom Phillips announces that today is the three year anniversary of 205 Live and several of the Cruiserweight OGs would be in action.

Raul Mendoza vs. Ariya Daivari

Ariya Daivari has been on “The Most Exciting Hour on Television” since Day One. He immediately shows why he’s a veteran of the brand by taking control of the match right away. When Mendoza gets in some offense, he mocks “Daivari Dinero”, who is not pleased. Mendoza takes out his opponent with a suicide dive. He then sends Daivari into the corner, hitting his neck.

Daivari reverses the momentum to send Mendoza outside. He punishes Mendoza by driving him face-first into the steps and tries to pin him when he gets back in the ring. Daivari tries pinning him again and even goes up top, but to no avail. Mendoza picks up momentum and hits a missile dropkick. He goes up top, but no one is home when he lands. Daivari hits a urinagi, but Mendoza kicks out at two. The pair trade near pins, but Daivari finally gets the win with a hammerlock lariat.

Danny Burch vs. Greg Williams

Danny Burch makes his return to the purple brand against local wrestler, Greg Williams. This is Burch’s first match solo on 205 Live.

The pair lock up and once he gets out, Williams shoves Burch, which doesn’t sit well with the British brawler. Burch immediately makes him pay by slapping him and putting him in a submission hold. Burch controls the rest of the match with an uppercut and a suplex. Williams get in a little bit of offense, by getting Burch in the corner and pummeling him with punches.

Burch headbutts his opponent, hits an Enzuguri, followed by a Hangman’s DDT. He gets the win in his 205 Live singles debut.

Rush is confronted by Garza

After retaining the NXT Cruiserweight championship, Rush is confronted by Garza outside of Full Sail University. Garza wants another shot at the title.

Jack Gallagher vs. Angel Garza

Gallagher has been with 205 Live since its inception as well. He’s appeared on 104 of 155 episodes, according to Phillips.

Gallagher starts off the match by getting Garza to the mat, but he eventually wiggles out and goes to the outside. Once he returns, Gallagher immediately takes him down to the mat.

Garza gets to his knees and asks Gallagher to shake his hand; after he hesitates, Garza punches him in the face and yells “shake my hand.” Gallagher takes advantage of Garza and nearly pins him. After dropkicking him in the corner, Garza tears off his rip-off pants. He puts Gallagher in the corner and attacks him. He tosses him in the air and kicks Gallagher in the ribs on the way down.

Garza continues to dominate his opponent. Gallagher finally gets in some offense and the pair exchange chops. Gallagher gets caught in midair and Garza promptly takes him to the corner, where he knees him in the ribs. Gallagher nails the Gentleman’s Headbutt, but Garza counters with a Superkick. The pair exchange blows from their knees. Gallagher gets Garza in the corner and starts wailing on him. Gallagher hits Garza with a running kick and tries to pin him, but Garza’s foot is on the bottom rope. Gallagher puts him in the Guillotine and head scissors, but Garza gets out. Garza hits the Wing Clipper and pins Gallagher.

Gallagher stands on the commentary table and kicks things off of it. He also throws a bottle of water at a ref. He destroys more property and attacks security. 205 Live General Manager, Drake Maverick, pulls Gallagher off of security and is repaid with a Gentleman’s Headbutt.

What consequences will Gallagher face next week? Will Garza get another shot at the NXT Cruiserweight championship?
