Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay a way from on December 7 in NBA Daily Fantasy Sports on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7:30 p.m. ET: Indiana at New York, Cleveland at Philadelphia
8 p.m. ET: Phoenix at Houston
10 p.m. ET: Memphis at Utah

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Jonas Valanciunas (at UTA – $7,700 on DK; $8,700 on FD): Valanciunas is rolling right now and a double double seems guaranteed at this point. The Jazz are worse against the position than you may expect given that they have Gobert, but their slow offense and lack of scoring leads to more rebounding opportunities. This should be an easy double double and then some for Valanciunas.

Domantas Sabonis (at NY – $7,500 on DK; $8,800 on FD): Speaking of double doubles. The Knicks are coming off being the Knicks, having fired their coach. A lot of times, this can lead to a boost for the team. And it may in this game. But the Pacers are a tough matchup and the Knicks issues go deeper than coaching. Sabonis will dominate and you should stack Pacers.

James Harden (vs PHO – $11,700 on DK; $12,100 on FD): Harden wasn’t on his game against the Raptors as they forced the ball out of his hands. The Suns won’t be able to do quite the same thing. Look for Harden to return to form with a big scoring game in this one.

Tobias Harris (vs CLE – $7,400 on DK; $8,100 on FD): It’s a back-to-back for the Cavaliers and they are up against a very good Sixers team. The Sixers won’t have Embiid, which is going to open up more opportunities for the rest of their offense. Harris has double-double potential and is their best scorer.
