The Russo brothers shared scenes of Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.’s final days on the set of Avengers: Endgame (and a lot more) during a virtual watch party.

It’s become a bit of a joke that a year out since Avengers: Endgame came out, and over two years since Avengers: Infinity War, came out that there’s still more to discuss about the two Marvel movies. But with a project so large and loved by others, it’s hard not to pass up all the details we can get when it comes to these huge, history-making films.

And on Monday night, the crew behind the last two avenger films were back again for ComicBook.com’s watch party of Avengers: Endgame. Over on their personal Twitter account, directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared their behind-the-scenes footage and stories from making the movie — including the final days on set for both Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.

For Evans’ final day playing Captain America, the brothers shared a clip on Twitter with Evans making the rounds on set for hugs. He’s wearing his battered Captain America suit, so it looks like his final scene playing Cap was at some point during the final battle of the movie.

Robert Downey Jr.’s last day on set isn’t quite the same as Evans. The actor is wearing one of the more casual outfits that Tony wears in the movie, so it looks like filming the final battle scene wasn’t his last day on set like Chris Evans.

The Russo brothers also shared a behind-the-scenes clip of one of the two’s final scenes together as Captain America and Iron Man. Standing behind Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, the person recording the clip got to film Captain America, Iron Man and Ant-Man’s exchange as they revisited the Battle of New York for the movie.

Outside of the two main leads, the Russo brothers shared plenty more from the set. One of the videos they shared included Brie Larson’s first day ever playing Captain Marvel — this is because both Infinity War and Endgame were filmed together (despite the movie Captain Marvel coming out before Endgame).

The Russo brothers had plenty more behind-the-scenes details to share on their Twitter account from the night of April 27. Meanwhile, Infinity War and Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely took over ComicBook.com’s Twitter to share their own details about the making of the movie.
