RCD Mallorca host Barcelona Saturday in their first game back from the break. Here’s all the info you need to watch La Liga online.

La Liga is back from its coronavirus pandemic hiatus and league leaders Barcelona make their return with a crucial match on the road.  On Saturday, table-topping Barcelona travels to the island of Mallorca to face 18th-place RCD Mallorca at Son Moix.

The Blaugrana are in first place with 58 points from 27 games and a league-best +32 goal differential. The two-time defending champions are, however, locked in La Liga’s tightest title race in years, leading rivals Real Madrid by just two points with 11 matches to play.

While Barcelona sit first in the table, they have been far from perfect this season. Barca fired embattled manager Ernesto Valverde midway through the season and replaced him with Quique Setien. There has been chaos behind the scenes in the boardroom that has spilled into interactions with the players.

One boost for the Blaugrana is Luis Suarez’s return from injury. After previously being all-but ruled out for the rest of the La Liga season, the nearly hiatus from action has given the Uruguayan time to recover and be available for the run-in.

Barcelona, led by the still otherworldly Lionel Messi, have scored more goals (63) than anyone else in the league. Messi himself has scored 19 and assisted on 12, both league-leading marks.

Mallorca were promoted to La Liga this season after six seasons outside of the top flight. The club – which is notably owned by an American ownership group led by Robert Saver that includes Steve Nash, Stu Holden and Kyle Martino – are in for a relegation battle over the final 11 matches. Mallorca sit the first relegation spot on 25 points but are just one point from 17th and within four points of 15th.

Barcelona beat Mallorca, 5-2, in their previous meeting this season.
