The Los Angeles Dodgers need to keep improving when the deadline comes around

What do you get someone who already has everything? The Los Angeles Dodgers have a perfect combination of youth and experience in the starting rotation, in the bullpen, and in the lineup. Andrew Friedman and the front office could easily sit out the 2020 trade deadline and still field arguably the most competitive team in all of baseball, but that is unlikely given how this franchise operates.

The Dodgers can, and should, consider improving their bullpen, adding one more starter for the late-season push, or selling off major chunks of their farm system in exchange for a game-changing superstar if they want to do deals at the deadline. Failing to do so. ould be the difference between a World Series title and failing in October once again.
