After the Bucks led a boycott of their Game 5 vs. the Magic, LeBron James demanded change via his Twitter account.

Change is happening in the NBA before our eyes in an unprecedented movement as playoff games have been postponed in the aftermath of players engaging in a solidarity strike in the wake of the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee Bucks initiated a boycott of their Wednesday afternoon game against the Orlando Magic. Reportedly, the Magic were ready and willing to play but the Bucks did not come out of the locker room.

That decision led to the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder boycotting their Game 5 later in the day.

In addition to the aforementioned boycotts, the Los Angeles Lakers held a team meeting about whether they will boycott tonight’s game vs. the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The meeting must not have taken much time because moments later, the Lakers and Blazers agreed to sit out. This resulted in an NBA decision to officially postpone all three scheduled NBA games for Wednesday.

And then the face and the voice of the NBA, LeBron James, spoke up on Twitter, issuing an emotional plea for change.

It remains uncertain what happens next as the NBA players are using their power and their influence to take a stand. When will we see the remainder of the NBA Playoffs?

No one knows, but ESPN’s Marc Spears reported on The Jump on ESPN that he doesn’t expect games to resume by Thursday. On the same show, Jay Williams echoed the same sentiments and doesn’t think there will be games Thursday and is unsure when the next game will take place because the players don’t want to lose momentum from this movement.

All NBA players have been invited to a Zoom meeting tonight that could determine if the season resumes or not. According to reports, the season is in jeopardy.
