John Harbaugh wants to drain his bank account by this time tomorrow.

If you want to lose $100,000 in one night, do what John Harbaugh did on Monday Night Football.

The Baltimore Ravens coach knows he’s up against it by playing his mentor Andy Reid‘s Kansas City Chiefs in the most important game of the 2020 NFL season so far. Baltimore and Kansas City are expected to meet once again in the 2020 AFC Championship game, but Harbaugh might be down some coin after some blatant maskless yelling at an official caught on-camera in Week 3.

We never wanted to not be able to lip-read more in our entire lives.

Though lip-reading is a cool and fun thing to do in most years during live television broadcasts of sporting events, 2020 is not one of those years. If you have to sound like Kenny McCormick from South Park when you talk to people, that’s just how it goes. A mumbled play call can’t be the worst  thing in the world, right? You can take a play off with botched call and so make the playoffs.

But for Harbaugh, the sideline yelling escapade was not a great look. We would have preferred him fogging up his faceshield like Reid did vs. the Houston Texans. Instead, he’s looking at one of those sweet, delicious $100,000 fines Pete Carroll, Vic Fangio, Jon Gruden, Sean Payton AND Kyle Shanahan all got in Week 2. A bad week in Las Vegas is a better way to empty your bank account.

Next. Bill Belichick, Jon Gruden are birds trapped in coaches’ bodies. dark

Even though there are 13 games left in the season after this, whoever wins at M&T Bank Stadium in primetime on Monday night may end up with the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, which would mean not having to play on Wild Card Weekend in addition to having home-field advantage. If the Ravens get the win, then Harbaugh might be able to live with the inevitable fine he’s sure to get.

If you’re not wearing a mask, but darn sure to not get caught on camera yelling at an official.
