Fantasy football: RB sleepers and stinkers for week 5

Week 5 is here and that means a quarter of the fantasy football season is in the books. You should be starting to get a feel for your team by now. Week 5 is also the start of scheduled bye weeks.

This week will see the Packers and Lions sitting which means managers will need to find a replacement for RB2 Aaron Jones. Hopefully you’re not relying on anyone in the three-headed rodeo in Detroit, but you won’t be able to use D’Andre Swift, Adrian Peterson, or Kerryon Johnson either.

Also as of this writing, the Titans-Bills game is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday. Depending on which site you play on, you may also be without the services of Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and Derrick Henry.

So today we’re going to talk about six different running backs. All of them are starters on their respective teams but you don’t want to be starting all of them in your fantasy lineup this week.

Three of them are sure starters. The other three? I would advise using another option if you have one available.

All stats and information is based off of ESPN standard scoring leagues.
