Seattle Seahawks Wide Reciever D.K. Metcalf just made perhaps the most impressive defensive play of Week 7.

D.K. Metcalf got on his horse to make an absolutely ridiculous tackle to stop the Arizona Cardinals from scoring on a crazy pick-six. Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson couldn’t have seen Cardinals safety Budda Baker flying in for the interception on first and goal in the second quarter of this highly anticipated Sunday night matchup. One thing is for sure though, Baker did not expect to look over his shoulder to see quite possibly the fastest human being on the planet hawking him down after a 90-yard return.

If the aerial view wasn’t enough for you, here are some numbers to break down how insane the play was.

This just in, D.K. Metcalf turns out to be a freakish athlete.

Every high school and college football coach in the country just ripped this video off the internet for their Monday film session spiel on “not giving up on the play”. Talk about an incredible effort from D.K. Metcalf who absolutely booked it to prevent a disastrous play and ultimately, a disastrous series.

The Cardinals started the ensuing drive on the Seattle 8-yard line and proceeded to go 4-and-out instead of simply kicking the field goal for guaranteed points. Not only did Metcalf make a touchdown-saving tackle, but the Seahawks would then march right back down the field and in two and a half minutes and score on a 24-yard touchdown by Carlos Hyde.

Talk about a game-changer. Should the Seahawks win this one, the game ball is definitely going to D.K. Metcalf.
