Atletico Madrid vs. RB Salzburg live stream: Watch Champions League online

The second game of the Champions League group stage kicks off on Tuesday as Atletico Madrid host RB Salzburg. Atletico lost their opening game 4-0 to Bayern Munich, while Salzburg drew 2-2 with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Following their loss to Bayern, Atletico rebounded in La Liga, beating Real Betis 2-0. Luis Suarez scored against Betis and will play a key role against Salzburg. He has been great since joining the club from Barcelona, scoring four goals in five La Liga games. The Uruguay international will be joined by Joao Felix in the front two for manager Diego Simeone. Under Simeone, Atleti have been one of the more frustrating defensive clubs in Europe. Atletico will try to frustrate their opponent and get the ball to their front two to pick up their first win of the group stage.

Salzburg’s draw with Lokomotiv was the first time all season that they had dropped points. The Austrian champions are trying to take the next step in their evolution and advance to the knockout stage for the first time in their history. For Salzburg to do that, they will have to beat Atletico Madrid in at least one, if not both of their matches in the group stage. Patson Daka will be a player to watch for Salzburg. The Zambian international has 12 goals and five assists in 10 games this season.
