Penn State’s Micah Parsons praised Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields for his performance against the Nittany Lions.

Even Ohio State rivals can’t get over how good Justin Fields is for the Buckeyes.

Former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons tweeted his respect for Fields while watching the quarterback shred his Nittany Lions.

As one of the best linebacker prospects preparing for the NFL draft, Parsons would know a great quarterback when he sees one.

Micah Parsons heaped praise on Justin Fields as he bested his old team

Fields truly earned the praise. The Buckeye quarterback was responsible for three touchdowns and 249 yards in the first three quarters of the game

The tweets from Parsons came shortly after Fields connected with Chris Olave on a 49-yard score to put Ohio State up 28-13.

Later in the third quarter, Fields gave even more reason for fans and opponents alike to sing his praises.

Fields is well on his way to contending for the Heisman Trophy. He threw two touchdowns and posted 276 yards in a blowout win over Nebraska. He had just one incompletion on that night.

There were a few more incompletions against Penn State, but given the higher level of competition, he can be forgiven for that. The quarterback was still a joy to watch.

Parsons was able to tweet about the game instead of playing in it because he opted out of the 2020 season in favor of preparing for the NFL Draft. As an All-American, he was one of the most high profile players to sit out. He is now expected to be a high draft pick in 2021.
